Goal Setting

My personal goal in the class would be to get better at time management. I always seem to come right up to very last minute finishing my videos, due to my OCD control of being a perfectionist or my overthinking of what story I will do for my video. To achieve this goal I am going to try to stick with a project and don't change my mind, As well as plan to shoot more footage that way I don't have to think about not having enough. I will also work harder on staying focused in class that way I can get more work done.
For the class I would like to make ONW Now a better show. The show in previous years has been rough and don't entirely make sense, and I always got complaints from my classmates how it was uninteresting and stupid. The show needs to be better planned and flow right with great story's that will keep the audience watching. To accomplish this we will create scripts for the show as well as have better packages that are well put together and include great shots and a moving story. Making a better show will give our news station have a better rep. and give myself as well as others a sense of accomplishment and something we can be proud of.
A goal I would like for Ecomm this year would be to create a great video for endorsement hours, It would be great to have a video to be proud of that you would want to show everyone. To accomplish this I will put in allot of after-school work and learn more from going on on-site job opportunities with my dad. The one person I would want to impress would be my hero, my Dad. My dad does this professionally for his job and it would be great if he was impressed with what I have learned from the class and put into a film that is my own.
